Fishing Guam is all about fishing on Guam...naturally!! Guam is an island in the western Pacific about 32 miles long and between 4 to 10 miles wide and about a 7 1/2 hour plane flight west/southwest of Hawaii towards the Philippines. It is surrounded by about 120 miles of coastline and has some of the best fishing in the world. Here is a link to some beautiful photos of Guam.
From the traditional types of fishing like tekken (gill netting), talaya (cast net), chenchulu (long drag net), and spear fishing to the more modern styles of fishing such as bottom fishing with rod and reels, trolling, and even jet ski fishing, we will try to showcase each one within time.
If you have your own photos and videos of fishing on Guam, you are more than welcome to send those to me or direct me to where you have already posted them and I will highlight them on this blog. My email is rod1043@yahoo.com.
So have patience as I slowly post photos and videos depicting the fish and fishing styles of Guam.
